I had a great visit at Scott Family Dental. I'm quite prone to anxiety when medical issues are involved ( with both the procedures and finances), and they took every step to reassure me on both of those fronts by providing advice and knowledge throughout the entire appointment. Dr.Scott and his coworkers are personable and enjoyable to work with as a patient,and I definitely recommend visiting them if you need any sort of dental work done. I’ve been a patient here for 3 years, never missed an appointment, and always followed their recommended cleaning schedule, bought their dental guard, etc. At my visit 6 months ago, I was told everything looked great and my next appointment would be in 6 months. Yesterday, after taking X-rays, I was suddenly told I need a serious deep cleaning, multiple fillings, and a crown—over $4,000 in treatment. When I asked how so much could have changed in just 6 months, I was told they didn’t take X-rays at my last visit because my teeth “looked good on the outside.”  That explanation was very disappointing. I trusted them with my dental care for years, and now I feel like serious issues were either missed or not properly monitored. I left feeling more frustrated than cared for.
